Viewing Blocked Sites

I have had multiple questions about how come certain sites are blocked on our district computers.  When logging into a PC you have to log into Novell, make sure that you are listed as a registered user and that the context says Users.K12 when you log in.  If you are on a Mac you must log into Novell after you have your computer on, you do not get automatically signed into Novell, you have to click Novell and then go to the gray area, click on NetWare and then NDS Log in.  Then you can log in as normal.  If you are still unable to view Blogs, YouTube, etc...  first try to close your browser and then go back into it.  It sometimes has a "lag" time between so it may take a min or so before you are able to access.  If you are still having issues contact the technology department.
