While I love the ability to access my :H drive from home, it's not as "portable" as I'd like it to be - meaning I'm restricted (for good reason) on how I can access the district server. Enter Dropbox. Dropbox provides free online storage and cloud syncing, it's cross-platform compatible, and can be used on almost any "smart" device (smartphone, iPad, netbook, etc.).
